Tamuna is results-driven corporate lawyer with 18 years of experience in business law, ensuring legality of commercial transactions, adept at drafting and reviewing company policies, negotiation obusiness transactions, partnership agreements, providing legal follow up of the hydropower plant projects and complex business transactions. She advises clients on all aspects of the delivery of construction and engineering projects, from procurement and drafting and negotiation of contracts, to contract administration and avoidance of disputes. Tamuna has substantial experience in providig legal assistance in dispute board and international arbitration hearings for several disputes regarding infrastructural projects governed by FIDIC type contract conditions.

Tamuna’s career started in Law Firm Getsadze & Pateishvili and after 8 years she moved to different  business sectors, providing legal assistance to several private companies, including Silk Road Energy,  where she had been working on different projects as a Head of Legal Team.  

Tamuna is a member of the Georgian Bar Association, a founding member of the Mediators  Association of Georgia and serves as a commercial mediator at the Tbilisi City Court.

Tamuna holds a Master of Laws degree in International Business Law from Central European  University, Budapest, Hungary. During her studies there, she received certificate of academic excellence from the Emory World Law Institute and was recipient of Open Society Foundation scholarship for Master’s Studies. 

Tamuna is fluent in English, Russian and German.
